              About Spirit Lakes Improvement Association

              1982-2011

              The Spirit Lakes are located seven miles northeast of Rib Lake Wisconsin on HWY 102. About one hour northwest of Wausau.

              Spirit Lakes Improvement Association is a non-profit organization, founded in 1982, to improve and maintain the quality of both Big Spirit and Little Spirit Lakes.

              The organization's main areas of interest are:

              Water Quality

              Fish Population

              Fish Habitat

              Recreational Facilities

              Improved Waterway Access

              Protection of Wildlife

              2011-2012 Officers

              Jim Poirier - Treasurer

              Please take the time to see and appreciate what has been accomplished since the start in 1982. Spirit Lakes Improvement Association has enjoyed excellent support from the DNR and local authorities. The cooperative efforts can only serve to continue to improve our lakes.
