The Annual Picnic was held this past weekend.  It is a great opportunity to see old friends and make new friends.  We had a variety of some really great food.  If you haven't attended you are missing out on good friends and good food.
Plan to attend next year!

This past week the Muskie were very active.  On Wednesday 7/28 I saw 3 fish caught and talked to a couple who said they had landed 6 fish that day!

The Kid's Fishing Day was held Sat 7/12/2010 We had 50 participants who appeared to have had a good time.
this past week we had a considerable amount of rain the water level is up at least 16" from the 4th of July.

The 4th of July weekend made it a little tough to get out and enjoy the lake.  I did get out to fish Monday morning.  Fished the little lake and caught 7 Bass, the biggest was 17".  It's good to see the water level up.  This comming Saturday the 10th is the Kid's Fishing Day so bring the kids they will have a great time!

A few items to update:
We have purchased a bouy for North of the island.
I've heard a number of small Walleye are being caught.  The stocking program is quite promising so remember catch and release!

Hey Everyone
The Ice is off so head to the lake!

Everyone SPRING is knocking at the door here on the lake.  It is now just a matter of a few days and the ice will be gone on Little Spirit.  Numerous Eagles are searching for food  on the ice.  They are a beautiful sight to see.!  Also there are ducks and a couple of geese on the lake.  So let's hear from you!

The dredging project is wrapping up.  It has been something to watch as the project progressed. I hope you enjoyed watching the project.
