The winner of the Vexilar is Todd LaBrec of Westboro, WI. And, the winner of ice auger is Bob Zocher from Athens, WI. Thank you to everyone who purchased a square. We will be having another board over the summer. If you have an idea of what you would like to see us raffle, please leave a comment.
We have filled our two winter board raffles. We will draw the winners on Saturday, March 17th at the shelter near the boat landing. We have a regular board meeting scheduled for that day. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The results of the Ice Fishing Jamboree are on our website.
We still have a couple of open spots on the board raffles. If you're interested in purchasing a square, please contact us through the website, our e-mail or our Facebook page. They are $20 per square. Our goal is to have them sold and draw the winner at our March 17th board meeting. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings. They are usually held at the shelter.
I saw someone plowing a road across the little lake. I don't know who you were, but thank you.
Get out and enjoy the weather this weekend... It's suppose to be great!
Per Kendal Patrie of the DNR our "Oxygen levels are looking great on both of the lakes." They will be back on March 5th to check them again. Stay tuned for updates on the Ice Jamboree from Saturday.

We will have a 50/50 raffle. Tickets will be sold the day of the contest for $1 each or 6 for $5. There will be one winner who will win half the money. The drawing will be held approximately at 3:30 PM at the boat landing shelter after the all the fish prizes have been awarded. If you aren’t going to be present we ask you to write your name and phone number on the tickets.
We will also have some small raffles. These tickets will also be sold the day of the contest also. They will also be $1 each or 6 for $5. You need to be present to win these prizes. If you aren’t present, please write your name and phone number on the ticket.
We are looking to update our clothing. So, all of our existing T-shirts and sweatshirts will be discounted. They will be out the day of the contest.
Please come out and support our great event. We are always looking for new members. It’s only $30 per year. Our year goes from May 1st to April 30th. Please note, you do NOT have to live on the lake to belong to SLIA. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday…

Please be aware the Aerator fencing is up. In the past we’ve had people move this fencing. Please do NOT do this. The fencing is up to protect people from dangerous ice when the aerators are operating.
This weekend, people were driving vehicles on the big lake. I personally have not seen anyone drive through the channel. But, I would assume that’s how they reached the big lake.
Our board fall board raffle is at Lil J & D’s. The cost is $10 per square. We will have 3 more board raffles during our ice fishing jamboree on February 10, 2018. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
You do not have to live on either lake to be a member of the Spirit Lakes Improvement Association. Membership dues are $30 per year. Our year goes from May 1st to April 30th. If you are interested in joining, please make contact on here or any officer or board member. We would love to have additional members.
On Saturday, January 6, 2018, Spirit Lakes Improvement Association will be putting up the fencing for the aerators on both lakes. If you are able to help, we are meeting at the boat landing at 10:00 AM.
The latest board raffle is at Lil J & D’s. Once we get the board full, we will draw the winner.
The annual Ice Fishing Jamboree will be held on February 10, 2018. Please note: We are not selling raffle tickets this year. We will be doing 2-3 board raffles from now and until the contest. We will also be having a 50/50 raffle. We will be serving brats, hamburgers, chicken soup and Chili along with Adult beverages, pop and water at the shelter at the little lake.
