Please be aware the Aerator fencing is up. In the past we’ve had people move this fencing. Please do NOT do this. The fencing is up to protect people from dangerous ice when the aerators are operating.
This weekend, people were driving vehicles on the big lake. I personally have not seen anyone drive through the channel. But, I would assume that’s how they reached the big lake. Our board fall board raffle is at Lil J & D’s. The cost is $10 per square. We will have 3 more board raffles during our ice fishing jamboree on February 10, 2018. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. You do not have to live on either lake to be a member of the Spirit Lakes Improvement Association. Membership dues are $30 per year. Our year goes from May 1st to April 30th. If you are interested in joining, please make contact on here or any officer or board member. We would love to have additional members. On Saturday, January 6, 2018, Spirit Lakes Improvement Association will be putting up the fencing for the aerators on both lakes. If you are able to help, we are meeting at the boat landing at 10:00 AM.
The latest board raffle is at Lil J & D’s. Once we get the board full, we will draw the winner. The annual Ice Fishing Jamboree will be held on February 10, 2018. Please note: We are not selling raffle tickets this year. We will be doing 2-3 board raffles from now and until the contest. We will also be having a 50/50 raffle. We will be serving brats, hamburgers, chicken soup and Chili along with Adult beverages, pop and water at the shelter at the little lake. Please check out our ad in the Star News or on the Medford radio station. |
