Spirit Lakes Improvement Association’s 2017 Ice Fishing Jamboree is in the books. We had very nice weather this year. The SLIA would like to thank EVERYONE for a successful event. There are too many to thank personally. Just know we appreciate all the support. The money from any of our events helps with the cost of the walleye stocking, running the aerators on both lakes during the winter, conducting our summer kid’s fishing contest and maintaining the boat landing. Annual membership dues also help offset these costs. I want to emphasize you do NOT have to own land on the lake to be a member of our organization. We welcome EVERYONE!
Not as many fish as in the past years were registered on Saturday. We had no bass or walleye registered this year. Here is a list of our fish winners… Species 1st 2nd Northern Jim Sadowski Dave Krueger Perch Brooklyn Westfal Gerald Hoffman Crappie Joe Wittock William Johnson Bluegill Brady Heiser Alyssa Eisner The winners of our large raffle were as follows…. You will need to pick it up from Mohr’s Bar, LLC. Again, thank you for supporting our Association.
