It is a sunny morning 35 degrees at 9 am. There is a quite a bit of skim ice on the lake this morning. We did get a little snow this past week and yes there is still some in the woods. Iv'e been watching the bridge project and I think there is a good chance it will be open before Thanksgiving.

Anyone have an ice thickness report yet. I am assuming they are ice fishing on Big and Little Spirit by now. I would like to get up to the cabin around Christmas time to get some of them whopper crappies. Thanks for helping.....Larry

Ice conditions is 10 - 12 inches of ice on the lake. Panfishing slow should pick up. From a report that was sent off the site. Will let you know what is happening.

1-4-2012 How thick is the ice on Little Spirit and Big? Any ice fishing going on? I won't be able to come up until Feb. Also how much snow have we been getting?
