Please be aware the Aerator fencing is up. In the past we’ve had people move this fencing. Please do NOT do this. The fencing is up to protect people from dangerous ice when the aerators are operating.
This weekend, people were driving vehicles on the big lake. I personally have not seen anyone drive through the channel. But, I would assume that’s how they reached the big lake.
Our board fall board raffle is at Lil J & D’s. The cost is $10 per square. We will have 3 more board raffles during our ice fishing jamboree on February 10, 2018. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

SLIA has a few things needed.... I am looking for a member who lives on either lake full time to help with the blogging. I live on the little lake. I can / will continue. I'm not home enough right now to keep up with everything that is going on. Also, Vicki Kroiss, our secretary is moving back to the valley. So, we are in need of a secretary. If you or you know someone that would be interested in this position, please step forward. We are having our next board meeting on December 9th. And, our new board raffle will be at this meeting. Hope to see some members there.
The little lake is iced over. We checked it last week. It was 3" thick. But, with the warm weather we've been having lately, It's probably not that anymore.

Spirit Lakes Improvement Association (SLIA) had their annual meeting Memorial Day weekend. Election of officers and board members was held. We welcome Trent Weik and Joe Pintarro to the board. Thank you for deciding to volunteer your time to SLIA. Also, thank you to Jim Miller and Dennis Strunk for their past services on the board. It was greatly appreciated. At this meeting SLIA drew a winner for our first board raffle. The winners were Roger Z and Vic R. As explained at the meeting we cannot advertise the board raffle on any web page per gaming rules. We are sorry for this inconvenience. We are in the process of setting up another board. You can contact myself or any other officer or board member what and where the next board is.
